The following exercise for connecting with the Universal Smile is a very ancient practice that allows us to access one of the healing forms of the Universe’s energy. It is a deeply emotional and mental healing exercise that helps close wounds of the soul when a scar has already formed. This exercise is meant to close healing processes. Read it carefully before doing it.
It can be done while standing still or in movement. To do it in movement, it is combined with a very beautiful and intense electronic music track that helps you reach the scar and make it smile, while you move your body, focus that energy on the event you lived in the past, and transform it into a smile.
To understand this, consider: one of the healing forms of the Great Spirit’s energy is like the smile of a newborn baby. It is a tender, sweet, innocent, and pure smile. This energy can be accessible to anyone if we visualize it, connect with it, and allow it to enter our body. The music suggested helps the Universal Smile connect with each of us and focus it on the scar we carry. The goal is to make the scar smile.
The exercise consists of first thinking about an emotional wound that you are in the process of closing, whatever it may be. Then put on headphones and start listening to the music. After a few seconds, your body will likely begin to move from side to side. Let the electronic music move you for a while. Follow the rhythm with your body. It is important to do this with headphones and with your eyes closed, in a place where you won’t be disturbed. You can set the song to repeat several times if you need more time.
The lyrics of the song say: “your scars, smiling.” It works like a mantra that repeats and intensifies at certain moments. The song is by CRi, a Canadian DJ who connects with very beautiful energies through his music. The name of the song is A Smile With Scars. You can find it on Spotify or other music platforms.

While you listen to the music and move your body, close your eyes and think about the situation that caused you pain. You need to remember that situation for a few seconds and then place a smile on it; transform that painful situation into the smile of a child, into the Universal Smile. You move from thinking about the painful situation to imagining a child’s smile over the thought of that painful moment. Just that. And you keep dancing for a while. Dance as if you were a smile; let your whole body become a smile. When you manage to connect with the smile, do not return to the thought that caused you suffering—focus only on the smile and keep dancing, as if you were a joyful baby.
If this brings you to tears, you may cry, but the important thing is to maintain that childlike smile within you for a while as your body moves with the electronic music. Imagine that your body is like the smiling face of an innocent, pure, fresh baby. Just that. This will make your scar smile, and this can lead directly to a possible definitive healing of the situation.
You can do this as many times as you feel necessary. You alone will sense when the issue that caused you suffering has come to an end. At the end, you may feel a new kind of joy for several hours.
May you connect deeply.
